I always end up providing my own supplies at work. I found a unique way to
'mark' everything as mine (a difficult habit for a Kat to break, the good
news is I don't spray!).
Take three or four Band-Aids and cut them into small strips making little
miniature Band-Aids. I have them on my mouse, my mouse pad, my phone, my
computer, my stapler, my clock, pencil sharpener, name plate...and on any
stuffed animals I happen to have in my cubie. Invariably everyone will ask
you why or what.. to which you respond. Everything is sterile.
Excellent ice breaker for the educational process.
Take two Band-Aids and cross them on your upper left chest area, as you
would a 'ribbon' to support a cause. I'll tell you, it's a real attention
getter! (We do have buttons and ribbons if you prefer those, just ask.)
The nice thing is it doesn't put holes in your clothes!
Bumper stickers aren't just for cars. Use them on mail box or stand,
garbage pails, fences and fence posts, trees, windows, doors (vet doors are
wonderful! Just get permission. We can have bumperstickers made clear with
white print, perfect for glass!) And don't forget to post them in places
like laundry mats..think of places where people of low income frequent
(those who might not be able to afford the surgeries) and include your
group's contact information.
Bright and Cheery Neuter Necklaces!
Stop by your local craft store and see if they have some plastic beads that are make to look like letters of the alphabet.
Buy some beads, those used to make the 'Beady Babies" work well. Maybe you'll find dog, cat or rabbit beads too!
Buy some decorative cording for your "Neuter Necklaces!" (something comfortable to the skin, not anything scratchy!)
Simply start putting beads on, then spell out "NEUTER" or "SPAY", and finish out beading the necklace. Tie off the cord and WALLA! (WALLA = We All Like Loving Animals!) (WALLA = We Alter Lots & Lots of Animals!)
These necklaces are really cute. They look like Mardi Gras necklaces and are fun to for the kids to make and to wear.

Want to make some really great spay neuter return address labels & shipping labels?
I took one each of the license frames (you can
download the thumbnail at the site and print if if you
want to, but please consider getting a spay neuter
plate for your car. EVEN if you have Animal Friendly
plates in your state, you'd be AMAZED at the number of
people who keep asking me "what are those plates for
that have the little dog & cat on them"... Get a spay
neuter frame on your car, then you KNOW that you are
getting your message out in addition to supporting
your state's efforts to subsidize spay neuter funding.
Get a frame. Photo copy the frame. Just lay it right
on the glass on the machine, pull the cover down and
copy it. Reduce or enlarge to make your labels.
The following two frames are currently available from
http://www.meowsville.com/prod_spay.html
double click on the photo of the frame to get a larger
picture of it, download or print and WALLA.
You can print to sticker paper but it's very expensive
I use regular paper, cut and paste the whole sheet
full of two different sizes of frames and apply with
tape.
Wonderful!
